CBSE Launched a web portal "SARANSH" a tool for comprehensive self review and analysis for CBSE affiliated schools and parents. It enables the parents and schools to analyse student's performance in order to take remedial measures.

SARANSH helps schools to compare their performance vis-a-vis all CBSE schools at various levels and also helps parents to compare their ward's performance within the school, State, Region and at National Level.

Parents may visit for further details about the initiative by CBSE.

Community Lunch was organized 17-11-2015 for the students of classes I to V by the Primary Department under CMP.

10 students of the Vidyalaya have secured Rajya Puraskar Testing Certificate. They are now eligible for Rashtrapathi Puraskar Testing Camp.

The Vidyalaya wishes all the children and parents a very happy, safe and colourful Deepavali. Children are requested to play crackers safely with utmost care and only in the presence of their parents.

63 Primary children have participated in various Sports & Games events at Mini Cluster level at K V Gajapati, as part of CMP activities.

Flag Day was celebrated on 7-11-2015. Stickers are distributed and donations are collected on the occasion of Flag Day.

Rashriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) will be celebrated on 31st October 2015, the Birth Anniversary of Sardar VallabhBhai Patel. Elocution and Quiz competitions will be conducted for the students along with Unity Run and Oath Taking by all.

The Cluster Level Mini Sports Meet for the Primary Children will be conducted at K V Parlakhemundi, on 7-11-2015. Three KVs, K V Rayagada, K V Srikakulum amd K V Parlakhemundi will be participating in this event.

The 18th NSO examination being conducted by SOF will be on 5th November 2015. All the participating children are requested to collect the roll numbers from the teacher incharge.

Vigilance Week is being celebrated during the period from 26th October to 31st October 2015. Slogan Writing and Elocution competition will be conducted for the students.

Hi-Tech Story Telling Museum in Parliament Complex is open for visitors. Interested students may visit the Museum.

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Rayagada, a co-educational institution, run by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Human Resource Development was established in the year 2007. It started functioning in its office in Jeypore Sugar Factory Quarters at Rayagada from 28th February 2007, but now functioning in Old Collectorate Building, Municipal Campus, Rayagada in temporary accommodation provided by the District Administration Authority.
