SA II Examination for classes 3 to 10 is going on. The results for classes 3 to 9 will be declared on 28-03-2016.

Walk in interview for contractual teachers will be held on 2nd and 3rd of March 2016. For more details please visit download window for " walk in interview".

Prize distribution for sports activities will be organized on 26-02-2016.

Educational Excursion was organized for the students of classes 3 to 5 on 9th February 2016.

8th Annual Day was celebrated on 6-02-2016. Shri. Jagannath Mohanty, OAS (SAG) District Collector & DM, Chairman, VMC was the Chief Guest and Mrs. Archana Mohanty was the Guest of Honour.

SA II for classes IX & X starts on 9-3-2016 and ends on 22-3-2016. Time 11-45am to 3-00pm

SA II for classes III to V starts on 11-3-2016 and ends on 18-03-2016. Time 9-00am to 11-30am.

SA II for classes VI to VIII starts on 11-03-2016 and ends on 23-03-2016. Time 9-00am to 11-30am.

The parents are requested to pay the arrears of fee for the period from 1-7-2013 to 30-06-2015 at the earliest. Those parents who paid the arrears already may ignore this message.

All the children are requested to update their parent's mobile number with the Class Teacher immediately.

CBSE Launched a web portal "SARANSH" a tool for comprehensive self review and analysis for CBSE affiliated schools and parents. It enables the parents and schools to analyse student's performance in order to take remedial measures.

SARANSH helps schools to compare their performance vis-a-vis all CBSE schools at various levels and also helps parents to compare their ward's performance within the school, State, Region and at National Level.

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Rayagada, a co-educational institution, run by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Human Resource Development was established in the year 2007. It started functioning in its office in Jeypore Sugar Factory Quarters at Rayagada from 28th February 2007, but now functioning in Old Collectorate Building, Municipal Campus, Rayagada in temporary accommodation provided by the District Administration Authority.    
Kendriya Vidyalaya, Rayagada firmly believes that a true education implies all-round development of a child and so besides academic excellence stress is laid on many co-curricular activities- such as games and sports, scout and guide, drawing and painting to name a few to stimulate the latent talents of the budding citizens of India. The organization primarily aims at physical, mental and spiritual development of every child. It also envisages to flourish as a pace setting educational institution by imparting updated quality education and inculcating the feeling of oneness and Indianness among our students.
